In Southeast Washington, D.C., a devoted mentor known as Kil continues his work with Horton’s Kids while carrying the weight of a young life lost to gun violence. When another teen is robbed at gunpoint, Kil steps in—helping the young man process his trauma through art and self-expression as past and present collide. Kil and the Kids is a story of resilience, healing, and the power of showing up, even when the weight is heavy.
